RECREATION SPECIALIST (YOUTH ACTIVITIES)

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Teen Program Coordinator at an Air Force (AF) installation with responsibility for oversight of a diverse range of educational, recreational, fitness, and leisure programs aimed at promoting and enhancing the physical, social, and emotional development of teens ages 13 through 18.

Plans, organizes, coordinates, and implements a developmentally appropriate and diverse, educational recreational, fitness and leisure year-round teen program that promotes physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development and fosters achievement, leadership, and recognition of teenage youth. Monitors day-to-day operations of the Teen Program. Administers Teen Program resources. Provides a safe and healthy environment for teens and staff. Assists in developing marketing strategies to promote and publicize the Teen program and increase awareness and participation.
