Training Specialist

Summary

Responsible for design, development, implementation and facilitation for new hire, technical, procedural, developmental, and product training. The Training Specialist must be versed in Short Term Disability, Paid and Unpaid Absence, state Paid Family and Medical Leave products. Salesforce Claim Vantage (CV) systems knowledge is preferred. 

Responsibilities

✔ Design and develop training modules (both Instructor-led and Web based) using instructional design methodology and web based training authoring tools to support new and existing employee technical, procedural, and soft-skill needs.

✔ Deliver technical, procedural, product, and soft-skill/developmental training to new and existing employees (both Instructor led and Remotely using Web-ex).

✔ Conduct Needs Analysis and provide consultative guidance on training approaches and best practices as it relates to business process documentation.

✔ Create formalized training plans for new employees and identify training needs for existing employees.

✔ Create and maintain training materials and reference tools.

Specialty Education Required

College degree or equivalent work experience.

Designations and/or Certifications Required

Professional certifications or designations appropriate and relevant for this role.

5-8 years of cumulative, relevant experience
