Engineering Technician (Mechanical)

About the Position: This position is located at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, with the Directorate of Strategic Management. Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a temporary appointment will be appointed/converted into a Temporary appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.

Provide technical support for sustainment operation in a constrained environment.

Develop repair plans for mechanical equipment to support operations.

Assess partner worksite needs to define equipment, facility, and training requirements.

Build partner competency through structured knowledge transfer tied to sustainment standards.
