About the role

The Alfa Romeo Sales & Aftersales Area Manager is a dealer-facing, field-based role covering a group of Alfa Romeo dealerships in the region. The position holds dual responsibility for retail sales performance and aftersales (service, parts, and warranty) operations, and acts as the primary liaison between assigned dealers and Alfa Romeo brand leadership. The Area Manager drives network standards, dealer profitability, and the premium customer experience across both the sales and service drive.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Retail Performance

  • Own retail sales performance and market share results for assigned dealers, tracking progress against established volume, share, and revenue targets
  • Consult with dealer principals and sales management on market opportunities, inventory flow, and merchandising to grow retail throughput
  • Deliver in-dealership training on Alfa Romeo product, sales process, and brand initiatives
  • Coordinate marketing programs and events with dealers to build local awareness and consideration for the Alfa Romeo brand

Aftersales & Service Operations

  • Maximize network operational efficiency across service, parts, and warranty functions, identifying gaps against Alfa Romeo standards
  • Review and analyze dealer operations data — warranty claims, parts purchasing behavior, and service throughput — to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities
  • Partner with dealer service and parts teams to improve fixed-operations profitability and customer retention in the service drive

Dealer Consultation & Brand Liaison

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between assigned dealers and Alfa Romeo brand teams on customer experience, retail development, and network initiatives
  • Evaluate individual dealer financial performance and advise on business planning, staffing, and process improvements
  • Support dealers in identifying auxiliary retail business opportunities (F&I, accessories, certified pre-owned, etc.)
  • Represent dealer feedback and market conditions back to regional and brand leadership

Field Presence

  • Maintain a consistent cadence of dealer visits across the assigned territory, with regular travel required to effectively cover the geography
  • Operate independently in a fast-changing environment, prioritizing across a multi-dealer portfolio without close daily supervision

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or High School diploma/GED and 6+ years of relevant sales experience
  • 5+ years of OEM sales, service, and/or marketing experience
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams)
  • Strong presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of retail automotive operations experience
  • Prior OEM field position experience
