Supervisory Program Analyst

The mission of the Department of Labor is to protect the welfare of workers and job seekers, improve working conditions, expand high-quality employment opportunities, and assure work-related benefits and rights for all workers. The Bureau of Labor Statistics measures labor market activity, working conditions, price changes, and productivity in the U.S. economy to support public and private decision making. The position is located in the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Office of Administration.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Carrying out an integrated BLS management control program in compliance with the framework established by management control-related requirements and regulations Directing staff in conducting, and personally participates in developing the standards, policies and procedures needed to implement the Bureau's management control program Directing staff and personally participates in coordinating the Division's activities to support BLS emergency planning Directing staff in coordinating the Division's effort to support the BLS Security Review Program, including but not limited to security audits, investigations and reviews Providing technical advice and consultation to Bureau managers and employees, contractors and agents, cooperating State agencies, and other Federal agencies involved in or affected by BLS management control program and security review program policies, standards, and procedures
