About the role
As a Compensation Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration of the company's compensation philosophy which includes analyzing and comparing data, making compensation recommendations, and processing all compensation transactions inclusive of new hire offers, promotions, internal moves, and compensation reviews. You may also be responsible for survey participation, market pricing and data analysis to recommend structure adjustments, as well as support of annual salary increase and variable compensation processes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, generate, and deliver timely compensation offers and process corresponding transactions
- Use consistent, equitable and standardized compensation practices to make compensation recommendations
- Develop process documentation, instructions, and resources to assist HR Partners and leaders as it relates to compensation activities
- Partner with internal customers to ensure strong change management in support of compensation-related rollouts and/or updates
- Support annual compensation planning processes including the development and management of tools and resources to support salary increase and bonus programs
- Work together with HR Business Partners and the Talent Acquisition organization to identify and develop training, resources, and communication materials in support of global compensation policies and procedures
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of compensation related data in systems such as job codes, salary structures, position codes, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of compensation or demonstrated success in HR with experience with analytics tools such as Excel or Google Sheets
- Possess a strong sense of discretion, professionalism and good judgment to work with confidential and sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality
- Must be a strong decision maker that can also be strategic and work independently
- Ability to confidently analyze data and make thoughtful recommendations to HR Partners and leadership
- Excellent planning, organizational skills, time management, multi-tasking and decision-making skills
- Proven accuracy and attention to detail
- Function efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
