Coordinator of Out of School Time Programs (Full-time)

Description

The Coordinator of Out of School Programs will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and management of out of school time programs at Friendly House. This individual will be responsible for ensuring program quality, meeting objectives, and fostering a safe and enriching environment for program participants. The coordinator will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance program offerings and cultivate community engagement.

Rate of pay: $50,000-$55,000 Annual Salary

Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university, or 3-4 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–2 years of experience supervising or leading others is required; prior experience directly supervising staff in a licensed child care or youth program setting is strongly preferred.
• Strong technology skills required, with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use program software, scheduling tools, and other digital systems. For example: Google Suites, Microsoft Office, Brightwheel, S’more Newsletters.  
• Required availability during Worcester Public Schools vacation weeks, school closures, evening events, and weekends. Including specific annual programming around Thanksgiving, Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, and New Year's Eve
• Possess a valid driver's license and have reliable access to a personal vehicle.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, highly preferable.
