Door Panels Material Handler

Job Summary:

Door Panels is responsible for cutting the panel inserts for doors, which are typically made from wood or MDF. The inserts are cut according to programmed cut plans, ensuring precision and consistency for each panel. Door Panels handles the insertion of RFID tags into the panels, allowing for tracking and identification throughout the manufacturing process.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and store materials needed for the Door Panels department, ensuring they are properly organized and ready for use.
• Insert RFID tags into door panels using tag applicators according to production specifications.
• Coordinate with production team members to ensure materials are delivered to the appropriate workstations in a timely manner, based on the production schedule.
• Ensure the proper handling, storage, and transportation of materials throughout the manufacturing process.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report material availability, progress, and any potential delays.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used, RFID tag placement, and inventory levels.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including storage areas for materials and tools.
• Support company values and continuous improvement efforts by performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
