Social Worker (Clinical)

About the Position: This is a Social Worker (Clinical) position with Guthrie Army Health Clinic at Fort Drum, New York. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation MAY be available for those new to federal employment. Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Student Loan repayment MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates.

Screen and interview patients to apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.

Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.

Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.

Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.

Provide individual and group clinical counseling services using various evidenced based modalities.

Analyze information collected to develop individualized psychiatric diagnosis treatment plan.

Assist with implementing and monitoring treatment plans.
