ADVANCED PRACTICE NURSE (NURSE ANESTHETIST)

About the Position: This position is located at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Interprets abnormal diagnostic data and changes in signs and symptoms.

Determines necessity for laboratory studies.

Provides immediate, post-operative care to patients transported to the PACU, ICU or recovery area.

Discriminates between normal and abnormal findings to treat underlying causes and conditions to stabilize the patient for transport.

Collaborates with the anesthesia, surgical and multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, holistic, evidence-based care.

Provides oversight and instruction to other CRNAs, students, and ancillary workers in the field of anesthesia, in both clinical and administrative areas.
