System Integration Test Engineer

You will be part of an interdisciplinary agile team designing and applying agile integration and test methods for new and advanced features including ADAS, Infotainment and EV systems.

As a team member, you will interact with SW design & architecture, virtualization and other validation teams. You will be continuously integrating logical functions and features of a system architecture via virtual and physical ECUs, starting early on with high virtualization and integrated in cross-functional agile teams. If you are a passionate technical engineer with a drive for quality and eager to bring exciting software-centric functions early to life, you will be the right candidate. We are looking for highly motivated engineers that work side by side with development engineers within agile teams from the early design phase until system validation. This starts at day one by not only integrating early implementations and requirement models, but challenging design and logical architecture in the earliest phase and with a focus to always strive for a great end-to-end system experience. Beside this proactive test-driven development mindset, we seek for good expertise on the following levels of the electrical system architecture and its various vehicle network functions and features:

• Design verification
• Architecture verification
• System integration
• Product validation

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering or Computer Science
• Minimum 3 years of experience in systems engineering or vehicle network development or similar
• Good technical knowledge of SW architecture services and functions and related technical standards (e.g. diagnostics, communication protocols) and/or functional domains
• Good understanding of testing standards for distributed SW systems
• Good knowledge of test methodology and test automation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master or PhD degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering or Computer Science
• Good knowledge in Vector, HIL Testing and real-time simulation
• Basic knowledge CANoe CAPL, Python scripting, Vector tools
• Good knowledge in communication protocols like CAN, LIN & Automotive Ethernet for hardware integration
• Good knowledge of AUTOSAR Adaptive platform, AUTOSAR communication configuration and testing of core platform services
• Good knowledge in Diagnostics, Data logging and root causing in Automotive Systems.
• Experience with functional testing in ADAS, Infotainment, Telematics or similar areas
