SUPERVISORY PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

About the Position: This position is located at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Recruitment Incentive may be authorized. Relocation Incentive may be authorized. Student Loan Repayment may be authorized. Advanced Leave Accrual may be authorized. Advanced In-hire may be authorized.

Correlate instructions to patients and apply pharmacy policy limitations and annotates changes on the prescriptions.

Coordinate with prescriber or other hospital staff on any pertinent issues or questions concerning the medication or patient.

Advise pharmacist of any significant issues or problems connected with any medication.

Perform all inpatient functions with minimal supervision by a registered pharmacist.

Supervise inpatient pharmacy technicians, with oversight of pharmacy supply section functions.

Provide advice, counsel, or instruction to individual employees on both technical and administrative matters.
