Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $130,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?  

The Team Lead, Domain Architecture, plays a critical leadership role in guiding and managing a team of architects responsible for the design, deployment, and operation of (technology) solutions. This position focuses on people management and team leadership, while maintaining a strong foundation to support delivery excellence. The Team Lead is responsible for enabling architects to succeed, fostering professional growth, ensuring project alignment with customer expectations, and driving consistent adoption of WWT and industry best practices.   

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of architects, providing career development, performance feedback, and coaching to build both technical and professional skills. 
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the architects team 
  • Collaborate with project managers and leadership to align architects resources with project needs and ensure customer commitments are met. 
  • Serve as the escalation point for the team, providing direction and helping resolve challenges. 
  • Drive accountability for project deliverables by setting clear expectations, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to WWT standards and methodologies. 
  • Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across the architects team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. 
  • Support workforce planning by identifying skill gaps, recommending training, and helping recruit and onboard new architects. 
  • Responsible for learning, teaching, and executing on WWT leadership initiatives 
  • Meets management/ leadership objective and requirements as assigned throughout the year 
  • Manages and mentors architects, fostering their growth and development within the organization. 
  • Responsible for ensuring all team members are working within our frameworks and completing required work on time.  
  • Provides employee assessment input to leadership 
  • Requires direct reporting responsibilities for the Sr. Managers supporting their areas of the business 
  • Effectively communicates with executive management, hiring managers, and other internal staff to determine and meet staffing needs
