Psychology Technician

About the Position: The Psychology Technician provides support to the Dilorenzo Health Clinic in Arlington VA, helping ensure consistent, high-quality patient care and facility operations. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Administer and score psychological tests and support prevention, suicide-prevention, and community outreach programs.

Schedule mental health appointments, determine patient eligibility, and maintain daily appointment schedules.

Interview patients, review documentation, and obtain information needed for treatment access and scheduling.

Maintain accurate, complete, and available mental health records and related reports.

Provide supervised crisis intervention, immediate referral support, and case-management coordination.

Assist credentialed providers with group therapy and coordination of on-base and off-base care.

Conduct and document supervised clinical assessments, including interviews, mental status examinations, and biopsychosocial histories.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
