Program Manager I

Overview

The Program Manager I is responsible for the overall knowledge, organization, direction and requirements of the contract effort.  The Program Manager I is responsible for the timely report of information to ensure program efforts are met.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in project management and technical competence in discipline field(s)
• Possesses knowledge of industry policies and practices such as FAR ISO 9001 and AS9110
• Understands and complies with the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, requirements, policies and procedures
• Provides cost and schedule estimating
• Ensure program meets systems discipline, engineering specifications and commercial practices relating to weapon systems procurement and production.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required
• Participates in program meetings as required
• Must be able to provide clear concise communication

Qualifications

Education:

• BA/BS in Business, Management, Engineering or Science Required
• Masters Preferred

Experience:

• Two years Program Management Experience Required
• Four years Program Management Experience Preferred
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project desired
• Earned Value Management, Proposal Writing experience preferred

Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher.
