SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a first level supervisor and Chief of the Plans andIntegration Section (LGRDX), providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control overassigned nonsupervisory employees.

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Plans and Integration Section ensuring logisticsplans, deployment/reception operations, Base Support and Expeditionary (BAS&E) Site Plans, WarReserve Material and Support Agreements comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meetcustomer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Plans and executes contingency, emergency, and/or expeditionary deployments and receptions forthe installation. Responsible for providing training, resources, and logistics systems to ensure the efficient andeffective operation of the installation deployment processes. Represents the Plans and Integration Section with a variety of installation and functional areaorganizations.
