General Supply Specialist

About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot's enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. Analyze supply and material data to identify discrepancies, resolve documentation and data-integrity problems.

Apply established supply policies, procedures, regulations, and automated database management practices to resolve material and supply support problems.

Review and analyze supply records and documentation to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

Coordinate with material managers, production planners, requisitioners, maintenance personnel, vendors, and other organization.

Review and maintain material master records in an automated supply management system.

Research, identify, and classify a wide variety of parts, materials, and supply items using Federal cataloging terminology, supply policies, and regulations.
