CYS Facility Director NF-04

This Full-Time position is located at the CYS School Age Center at Sierra Army Depot in Herlong, California. Morale Welfare & Recreation Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee: Available to MWR CYS Regular and FLEX (working a minimum of 15 hours) First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Incumbent is responsible for the administration of the facility to include implementation of budgeting and financial management, personnel management, program operations, special needs, and compliance, among other tasks.

Serves as a first level supervisor for assigned staff. Supervises staff to include assigning work, conducting performance reviews and approving leave. Makes decisions on work and administrative issues presented by subordinate supervisors.

Ensures the implementation of a developmentally appropriate CYS program that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of children and youth.

Provides program oversight and accountability for the performance of employees and the safety of children in accordance with Federal, DoD, Service, and local policies and standards.

Ensures the program complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Prepares and executes Appropriated fund (APF) and Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) budgets for the center.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
