Munters is looking for a Wiring Machine Operator/Technician to join our growing manufacturing team in Daleville, VA. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys operating automated equipment, troubleshooting problems, and making sure production stays on track.

You’ll operate a Komax Zeta 650 automated wire processing machine to produce high-quality wire sets used in our equipment.

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor automated wire processing equipment.
• Load wires, terminals, ferrules, ink, and other production materials.
• Select and run the correct production programs.
• Monitor equipment for alarms, material shortages, and quality issues.
• Perform manual crimping and wire processing when needed.
• Inspect completed wire sets to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Complete work orders and production records.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, sensor, software, belt drive, blade, and wire-processing issues.
• Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Komax Technical Support to resolve equipment issues.
• Monitor consumable inventory and request materials as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience operating automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting machinery or production equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring, terminals, ferrules, crimping, and wire identification.
• Electrical wiring or wire-processing experience preferred.
• Experience with Komax or similar equipment is a plus — but not required.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and production systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when issues arise.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
