About the role
As Emora’s Founding Go-to-Market Lead, you’ll build the non-marketing growth engine that helps more kids, teens, and families find care through the people and organizations they already trust — pediatric practices, health systems, hospitals, schools, community organizations, and other referral partners.
This is a hands-on build-and-run role. Over the first 6–12 months, you’ll identify the highest-potential channels, build the relationships yourself, test messaging and motions, learn quickly from the market, and turn what works into a repeatable playbook.
This is not a traditional enterprise sales role, and it is not a pure marketing role. We’re looking for a 0-to-1 builder who is equally comfortable shaping strategy, doing outreach, running partner conversations, tracking results, and adjusting the motion based on what the data and market tell you.
You’ll work closely with Clinical, Operations, Product, and executive leadership as Emora expands into new markets. Depending on experience, you may also manage our field representatives in Florida, Texas, and North Carolina as the function grows.
What you’ll do
• Build Emora’s non-paid, relationship-driven growth strategy from the ground u
• Launch and grow referral channels through pediatric practices, health systems, hospitals, schools, community organizations, and other partners
• Personally develop new relationships and prove new channels before scaling them
• Build a repeatable playbook for practice- and partner-based growth across markets
• Own measurable growth goals tied to referrals, partner acquisition, admissions, pipeline, and market development
• Test new channels, messages, and partnership approaches quickly; double down on what works and stop what does not
• Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of referral and partnership opportunities
• Develop the reporting, forecasting, and operating rhythm needed to understand channel performance
• Represent Emora externally in partner meetings, community events, and market-development conversations
• Partner closely with Clinical, Operations, Product, and executive leadership to ensure partners and families have a strong experience
• Help shape the future GTM organization as the function proves out and scales
Who you are
• You have approximately 4–7 years of experience and have already shown that you can operate with significant ownership
• You have built, launched, or materially improved a new growth channel, market, territory, partnership motion, or commercial process
• You are a true builder: energized by ambiguity, comfortable starting without a complete playbook, and willing to figure things out yourself
• You are highly externally oriented and strong at building trust, opening doors, and creating relationships from scratch
• You are comfortable with proactive outreach, persistence, rejection, and follow-up
• You have owned measurable commercial or growth outcomes such as revenue, pipeline, partnerships, referrals, market launches, conversion, or similar goals
• You can move easily between strategy and execution; you are not looking for a role where you only manage from a distance
• You are analytical and use data to understand where a growth motion is working, where it is breaking, and what to change
• You communicate clearly and credibly with a wide range of stakeholders, from local practice owners to senior health system leaders
• You are excited by the pace, ownership, and breadth of an early-stage company
Nice to have
• Experience in healthcare, digital health, telehealth, or another complex, relationship-driven industry
• Experience building partnerships with practices, clinicians, health systems, hospitals, schools, or other community referral channels
• Experience managing field sales, partnerships, or market-development teams
• Experience in a marketplace or network-based business
About Emora
Emora Health is a rapidly growing, venture-backed virtual behavioral health company changing the way mental health care is delivered to kids, teens, and young adults. We are building an end-to-end care platform designed to improve the experience for families while connecting them with licensed, specialized therapists and psychiatric clinicians across a range of needs, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional or behavioral conditions.
With most mental health conditions emerging early in life — and too many young people still unable to access the care they need — Emora is focused on closing that gap through earlier, more effective support.
We’re looking for ambitious, agile, mission-driven people who want to help build the company and its operating model from the ground up.
