SUPPLY TECHNICIAN

The primary purpose of this position is to provide supply operations support pertaining to scheduling and conducting warehouse inventories, validating and correcting audit trail records, when applicable, determine reasons for inventory adjustments and document results, and prepare the end of month inventory report for accountable officer signature.

Determines stock levels needed for non-recurring, specialized supply items based on usage, inventory, project demands, seasonal demands, changing customer needs, and projected depletion. Maintains specialized property accounts and records. Updates databases with information provided by analysts or higher level technicians. Performs document control work involved in the processing of supply transactions. Provides assistance to customers, storage depots, or other organizations. Performs general clerical support work.
