Primary Purpose
Analyzes supply chain data and implements solutions to optimize inventory and sourcing practices. Enhances operational performance by applying problem-solving skills to reduce delays and costs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Creates and implements systems to ensure timely availability of materials for production and delivery schedules.
Contributes to long-term initiatives aimed at improving planning and inventory control processes.
Works closely with cross-functional teams to assess demand trends, inventory levels, and potential supply challenges.
Identifies and secures sources for key materials, negotiating terms to balance cost, quality, and reliability.
Defines and maintains standard procedures for supply chain operations, continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency.
Drafts and finalizes supply agreements, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Experience

Required: Typically requires 5 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required: Ability to balance cost, service, and risk considerations in decision-making.
Required: Ability to independently resolve complex or non-routine supply chain challenges.
Required: Ability to lead defined supply chain initiatives or projects.
Required: Knowledge of advanced supply chain principles and process interdependencies.
Required: Knowledge of supplier, production, and distribution trade-offs.
Required: Skill in conducting root-cause analysis using quantitative and qualitative data.
Required: Skill in influencing peers and partners using data-based insights.
