IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (DATAMGT/INFOSEC)

Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) mission is to lead the Department of Defense (DoD) in finance and accounting by ensuring the delivery of efficient, exceptional quality pay and financial information.

Develops, and deploys Cognos reports, interactive dashboards, and active reports. Builds and maintains metadata models utilizing Framework Manager and Data Modules.

Applies advanced knowledge of Cognos report development and deployment to troubleshoot and resolve failing processes. Collaborates with developers to deploy Cognos objects in alignment with DFAS and IBM best practices.

Acts as a subject matter expert on issues related to Cognos installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting.

Possesses foundational knowledge of SQL, relational databases, Windows Server operating systems, and basic web server technologies (IIS).

Executes security procedures to guard against unauthorized intrusion into the Cognos environment.
