Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while helping maintain an orderly environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of food and beverage production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
