About the role

Join the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) as an Administrative Officer (Resource Management Specialist) in the Administrative Services Division, Information Management and Analysis Branch (IMAB). You will support program offices by advising on printing, distribution, mail, forms, and warehouse publications. In this role, you will analyze and manage data to support operations related to shipping, publications, forms, and critical operational priorities.

Develop, modify, and evaluate program objectives for process improvement.

Consult with agency leadership on organizational needs, and explain documentation requirements.

Develop and analyze methods and procedures by surveying services to ensure they conform to USDA and FSIS standards.

Compile and track expenditure data for mail and shipping needs.

Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to address issues for resolution.

Manage procurement of supplies and services.

Maintain a database or systems of support data to generate required tracking reports.

Perform assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and management controls.

Provide support and interpretation regarding procedures to carry out the agency mission.

Conduct quality assurance assessments to ensure quality of service on items produced.

Coordinate the receipt, storage, inventory, and reporting of supplies and accountable items.
