LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Industrial Support Department, Supervisor of Shipbuilding (SUPSHIP) Groton Supply Support Division, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Outfitting Logistics Management Branch of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF.

You will ensure that appropriate planning and acquisition actions are taken so that all GFM is received in support of each submarine consistent with contractual and shipbuilders construction/availability schedules.

You will act to resolve problems encountered or clarifications required regarding contract and schedule requirements.

You will review contractual and higher authority ILS directive and documentation.

You will assist in the performance of surveillance actions of inventory accuracy and control and conduct audits as required.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
