Gensco currently has an amazing opportunity available to join our Technical Services Team as a HVAC Field Service Support Specialist onsite at our Corporate Office in Tacoma, Washington!
Summary
- Provide excellent customer service to current and potential Gensco Customers
- Perform a broad range of Field Service support responsibilities
- Assist Customers and Gensco Team Members with equipment support, communication of product information, product & service training, warranty claim fulfillment, and factory support
Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer Service - respond to incoming Consumer assistance calls and provide a single point of contact for Customers.
- Dealer support - communicate any product recalls, reworks, or necessary field modifications.
- Technical Training - compile and distribute product technical training schedules, assist with registration, and arrange facilities and services.
- Warranty Claim Fulfillment - assist in processing all Customers’ warranty credit requests in accordance with factory and Company policies.
- Factory Support - serve as the single point of contact for Consumer issues and assign Consumer concerns to the appropriate contact person.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- A 2- or 4-year college degree preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in retail HVAC with Dealer service background preferred
- Prior direct consumer service experience desirable
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC industry
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and high degree of personal integrity
- Able to work sitting or standing and move freely throughout t facility
- Able to lift or carry equipment, supplies and inventory on a frequent basis
- Able to use tact and diplomacy in sensitive situations
