Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Ambassador in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entry points, common spaces, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
