Industrial Hygienist

About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Conduct industrial hygiene and environmental health surveys of high hazard work environments containing diverse occupational exposures such as heat, noise, solvents, toxic dust, fumes, vapors, and mist, pesticides, toxic metals, etc.

Evaluate and recommends methods to control or eliminate occupational and environmental health hazards or exposures.

Prepare detailed technical reports of survey findings with recommended corrective actions.

Conduct special studies, surveys, and assistance visits for organizations on a variety of industrial hygiene issues.

Conduct training on general industrial hygiene topics, to include hazard communication, respiratory protection, personal protective equipment use, hearing conservation, ergonomics, and confined space entry requirements.
