About the role
AI Enablement Leader — US / NYC
About Indicium AI
Indicium AI builds and ships production AI for large enterprises, with a focus on Financial Services and Energy. We are a Preferred Partner in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network, a launch partner for EMEA and LATAM, and a US Enterprise Growth Partner. We were named Databricks Consulting Partner of the Year and are backed by Databricks Ventures. Our teams have enabled more than 5,000 people to work with AI.
The Role
We are hiring an AI Enablement Lead to take enterprise clients from Claude licenses to Claude in daily use across the business. Most of our clients are in Financial Services (banking, capital markets, insurance, wealth management) and other regulated industries.
You will lead client rollouts of Claude Enterprise, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork, and of the skills and agents built on them. Our enablement work runs in three stages:
-
Activate: Gets the organization set up, governed, and using Claude on real work.
-
Adopt: Turns early use into working solutions across teams.
-
Embed: Makes Claude part of how the business runs, and measures the result.
The role suits someone who started in a technical role, such as software engineering, data engineering, or solutions architecture, and moved into client-facing work. You do not need to have written production code recently. You do need to know the technology well enough that a client's engineering leads treat you as a peer, and well enough to explain it plainly to business leaders.
You will work with our client leads, our forward deployed engineers, and our delivery teams in Brazil and the UK.
What You'll Do
-
Plan and lead rollouts: Run readiness assessments, define user personas, and phase the rollout of Claude Enterprise, Claude Code, and Cowork across business and engineering teams.
-
Set up the platform and its controls: Work with client IT, security, risk, and compliance teams to configure the Claude organization: SSO, admin and managed settings, connectors and MCP servers, data handling, and audit logging. Map the client's control framework to the settings that deliver it. Advise on deployment options, including Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and Microsoft Foundry.
-
Train people on real work: Design and deliver hands-on training for executives, business users, and developers, built around the client's own processes.
-
Build a champions network: Find and coach internal champions who carry adoption into their teams and keep it going after we leave.
-
Shape the first use cases: Help business teams choose early use cases, break them into steps Claude can take, and decide where a person must review the output. Build skills, prompts, and Cowork workflows yourself. Bring in our forward deployed engineers when a use case needs production engineering.
-
Advise on models and cost: Explain when to use Opus, Sonnet, Haiku, or Fable, and how that choice affects quality, speed, and spend. Help clients set usage policies and budgets.
-
Measure adoption and value: Track usage, agree on the metrics the client's leadership will judge the program by, and report progress to executive sponsors.
-
Lead the enablement workstream: Own the delivery plan, manage risks and dependencies, and coordinate the Indicium team on the engagement.
-
Support pre-sales: Work with our US sales team on discovery, scoping, and pitching enablement programs, and grow first rollouts into long-term accounts.
What We're Looking For
-
Technical background (Required): Earlier experience as a software engineer, data engineer, solutions architect, or similar. You can read code, follow a technical design, and hold your own in architecture conversations with client engineering teams.
-
Deep, current knowledge of Claude: Hands-on experience with Claude Enterprise, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and the Claude apps. You understand how skills, agents, subagents, MCP servers, and connectors fit together, and how tool calling and structured JSON outputs work. We prefer Claude experience, but enterprise experience with comparable tools (e.g., ChatGPT Enterprise or OpenAI Codex) also counts, as the skills transfer.
-
How LLMs work: A working grasp of context windows, prompting, evaluation, hallucination control, and the trade-offs between model tiers.
-
Enterprise rollout experience: Track record leading the rollout of a technology platform across a large organization, including training, change management, and adoption measurement.
-
Client-facing consulting experience: Experience leading workstreams at enterprise clients, working with senior stakeholders, and making technical trade-offs clear to business leaders.
-
Governance in regulated industries: Understanding of how AI tools meet security, privacy, and model risk requirements. Experience with US financial services regulation (e.g., SEC, FINRA, OCC, NYDFS Part 500, and SR 11-7 model risk guidance) is a strong plus.
-
A practical approach: You judge success by what people do differently with Claude, and you keep training material short and usable.
Why Indicium AI
-
Deep Anthropic Partnership: Work at the bleeding edge as a Preferred Anthropic Partner, with direct access to partner teams, official training, and early access to unreleased capabilities.
-
High Autonomy Culture: Sharp, high-agency teams with no middle-management layers or corporate theater.
-
Frontier-Level L&D: Generous learning budget, dedicated research time, and unencumbered access to state-of-the-art AI tools.
-
Top-Tier Benefits: Competitive pay with performance bonuses, comprehensive health coverage, generous PTO, Unlimited Sick Days, 401k Employer Match, flexible holidays, parental leave, and a paid company shutdown the last week of December.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $175,000 - $250,000. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. An individual's final salary offer will be determined based on a variety of factors, including geographic location, experience, specialized skills, and qualifications. This compensation range is subject to updates or modifications at the company’s discretion
