About the role
Overview
The Maintenance Lead performs and leads general maintenance and repair work for Palmilla Beach Resort Vacation Rentals residences and operational facilities. This position helps ensure residences are safe, functional, well maintained, and ready for guest and owner arrivals. The Maintenance Lead provides daily direction to Maintenance Technicians, coordinates assigned vendor work, completes preventive maintenance and work orders, and ensures all tasks are completed to company standards, on time, and with a focus on owner-asset protection and guest experience.

Responsibilities

- Performs all job responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner.
- Attends meetings and company gatherings as assigned.
- Fulfills all job responsibilities and other duties or projects assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Director of Property Management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical training, trade certification, or relevant maintenance license preferred.
- Two or more years of general residential, hotel, resort, vacation-rental, or facilities-maintenance experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership aptitude or prior experience leading work assignments, training peers, or coordinating a small team.
- Working knowledge of basic repairs to plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, HVAC-related systems, furniture, doors, windows, walls, floors, ceilings, and cabinetry.
- Ability to read and complete work orders, follow instructions, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize assignments.
- Basic computer and mobile work-order system skills required.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
- Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and be insurable within the CoralTree Residence Collection system.
