Operations Specialist

About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located in at Fort Gordon, Georgia.

Serves as a Current Operations (CUOPS) officer within the J33 CUOPS section of the Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber (JFHQ-C), Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER).

serves as a current operations expert providing continuous analysis, evaluation, oversight, situational awareness, and mission status reporting for Offensive and Defensive Cyberspace and Information operations.

Evaluates and advises the organization for the delivery of offensive cyberspace and Information operations supporting USCYBERCOM, USCENTCOM, USNORTHCOM, and USAFRICOM.

Advises on the distribution of work for personnel in executing operational missions and procedures.

Plans and establishes Offensive Cyberspace effects synchronization rehearsals and execution strategies of complex missions that support global crisis and contingency operations.

Serves as the focal point for receiving taskings, requirements, and Request for Information (RFI) from higher headquarters.
