About the Position: This position is with the Equipment Management section at Martin Army Community Hospital located in Fort Benning, GA. Duty hours are 0730-1600. Evaluate and install complex medical equipment and systems in a medical facility.

Advise on special projects involving the installation, service and repair of highly complex medical equipment and systems.

Serve as consultant to clinical staff in the purchase of new medical equipment and modifications of medical systems to meet special needs.

Inspect, operate, and test medical equipment to determine whether it meets government's specifications after purchase.

Conduct preventive maintenance checks and services inspections of medical patient care equipment such as x-ray machine, ultrasound scanners, physiological monitoring systems, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), etc.

Operate Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment to support troubleshooting and repair of complex medical equipment and systems.
