Supervisory Interdisciplinary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: You will plan, direct, coordinate, and supervise all programs of the Field Exploration and Materials Section and serve as the District technical expert on subsurface explorations.

Perform the full range of supervisory duties and personnel management functions as the Chief, Field Explorations and Materials Section.

Direct the team on subsurface exploration, soil/rock/materials testing for foundation design, and geological support for environmental remediation projects.

Plan, direct, and coordinate the performance of functions of the District Testing Laboratory and the Field Exploration Unit.
