Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Business Office, will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the business office operations, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. This role involves optimizing financial processes, improving operational efficiency, and leading a high-performing team to support the organization’s success. The candidate will serve as a key advisor to executive leadership and work collaboratively across departments to drive growth and innovation.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance required
2. Three to five years experience in health care business office required
3. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Must be able to demonstrate understanding of and ability to interpret third party payer principles and terms and COBRA laws. Strong organizational skills required for effective communication with patients, physicians, public, staff and administrations. Must be able to work in fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities
6. Working knowledge of computer systems, equipment and processes commonly performed within the Business Office area.
7. Well versed in billing and collection regulations and requirements by payer
8. Knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Medicare, Medical, HMO/PPO, Commercial and W/C Billing & Collections
