IT SPECIALIST (SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION)

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a IT SPECIALIST (SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION), Position Description Number D2489P01 and is part of the PA Deputy Chief of Staff G6, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement.

As an IT Specialist (SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION), GS-2210-11, you will manage all assigned servers and server resources, analyzing and defining requirements; analyzing workload; monitoring capacity and performance; diagnosing and resolving problems; and developing backup and recovery procedures. Resolve inquiries and problems concerning access, use, and availability of datacenter technologies. Maintain liaison with counterparts at other commands/installations for troubleshooting assistance and researching available products and state-of-the-art technologies and advancements. Perform other duties as assigned.

At the GS-11 level, a Ph.D. or equivalent, or 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
