Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build backend services and AI agents for finance workflows, owning a small module of the product from design through production and working closely with the people who run the process today.

What you'll do

- Develop and maintain backend services that power AI agents in a finance product.

- Shape the prompts, tools, evaluation suites and safety controls that govern agent behavior.

- Spend time with accounting professionals to understand their workflows before automating them.

- Contribute to front-end work when a problem requires it.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- One to four years of backend engineering experience.

- Experience building and putting AI agents into production.

- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related engineering discipline.

- Willingness to work on-site in New York City five days a week.

- Base salary: USD 170,000 to 220,000 per year
