Licensed Vocational Nurse

Merakey is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support 1:1 individuals with developmental disabilities and complex behavior/medical needs in a residential EBSH setting.

Earn $40.00 an hour

SHift: PRN

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing insulin and following diabetic orders.
• Chart and MAR reviews.
• Medication reorders and coordination with pharmacies/providers.
• Nursing 1:1 support for resident. 
• Participation in community outings and appointments.
• Collaboration with families, conservators, and IDT team members.
• Support implementation of behavioral and medical care plans.

REQUIREMENTS

• Active California LVN license.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Behavioral health or residential experience.
• Type 1 Diabetes management experience.
• Insulin administration.
• Familiarity with Dexcom continuous glucose monitoring systems.
• Developmental disability services.
