WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Technical Writer-Editor, you will: Provide the full range of editorial support to professional staff on a variety of written materials, including scientific, administrative, and general information documents. Develop content that clearly and effectively informs and educates health professionals, data users, partners, and the public about CDC science, data, data science, and programs Serve as production manager for projects and has responsibility for overseeing various stages of production to meet deadlines and ensure that materials are of the highest quality. Consult directly with authors about writing and revising manuscripts and provides guidance on effective expository writing.

Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
