About the role

Participates in financial briefings concerning operating programs, prepares, analyzes, interprets and presents accounting data that is critical to the team’s overall mission.
Responsible for examining, analyzing, interpreting and monitoring obligation data and contract agreements for reimbursable orders.
Ensures the maintenance of the Agency's DAI accounting system is up-to-date, so that the obligation and disbursement of reimbursable funds are processed correctly, with the correct customers' accounts being billed.
Support the reporting team to resolve financial discrepancies impacting general ledger and financial statements by conducting a root-cause analysis to provide clear explanations and corrective actions affecting the financial statements.
Must be a U.S Citizen as verified through E-Verify Program. Drug Testing: If you are given access to classified information, you will be subject to random drug testing. If you are selected for a special sensitive position, you will be placed in a drug testing designated position. You must pass a drug test before your assignment to such a position and you will be subject to random drug testing subsequent to your assignment. Background Investigation: All selectees will be subject to a personnel security investigation which must be favorably adjudicated for occupancy of a sensitive position and/or access to classified information. If you are selected for a critical/special sensitive position, you will be subject to a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). For a critical sensitive position, you must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility at the Top Secret level. For a special sensitive position, you must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility at the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level AND you will be subject to a random counterintelligence scope polygraph.
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: There is no substitution of education for experience at this grade level. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in a conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying or prior to appointment as outlined above. Qualifying education from colleges and universities in foreign countries must be evaluated in terms of equivalency to that acquired in U.S. colleges and universities. Applicants educated in whole or in part in foreign countries must submit sufficient evidence, including transcripts, to an accredited private organization for an equivalency evaluation of course work and degree. You must provide a copy of the letter containing the results of the equivalency evaluation upon request. Failure to provide such documentation when requested will result in lost consideration.
