Clinic Student: School Based/In-House Fall 2026
About the role
Each year, The Legal Aid Society (LAS) hosts law students who are part of a clinic program. School Based clinic students are pursuant to an Agreement between the law school and LAS, while In-House students are taught by a member of the LAS staff. Students are chosen to participate by their school, not LAS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Depending on the curriculum, clinic student responsibilities may include:
- Drafting motions, pleadings, memoranda of law, and affidavits
- Conducting legal research
- Attending court and administrative hearings with attorneys
- Assisting with client interviews
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a student enrolled in a Clinic Program

As a Clinic Student position, this role has no salary and is not benefits eligible.
