We are looking for a world-class product leader and innovator to join our high-performing product team to shape the future of Stellantis connected vehicles. As a Platform Product Manager – SDP within the Software Organization, you will be responsible for the vision, roadmap, and delivery of critical capabilities to enable connected software products.  You will work closely with cross functional product and business stakeholders to ensure the platform provides industry leading connected services including high value data and remote operations to drive innovation toward software defined vehicles.  You will set priorities and lead execution to achieve committed results.  

 Job responsibilities include:  

  • Demonstrate end to end ownership of your product domain. 
  • Establish the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your domain software services and capabilities. 
  • Independently manage your product domain, leading business and technical decision making through coordination and collaboration with cross-functional partners and business leaders. 
  • Contribute to a fresh product approach of API-as-a-service and transform the business towards software services and platform capabilities with understanding of the end to end Features/Products. 
  • Use business cases to garner leadership support and approval of new products/technology. 
  • Partner with key stakeholders -product, operations, planning, engineering- to establish development priorities based on revenue and/or operational cost impact, quality, and compliance.    
  • Maintain a product backlog to meet stakeholder needs that is transparent, visible, and well understood. 
  • Support communication of delivery timelines, status, risks, and escalations to the leadership team. 
  • Monitor, manage, and communicate product health by establishing KPIs and health dashboards or reporting.  
  • Proficient at agile software development with a strong ability to decompose and define business requests at different levels – theme, epic, story – and support execution through agile methodologies.   
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and other influencers who contribute to the definition and ongoing support of the software platform. 
  • Guide architectural decisions by having in-depth knowledge of service delivery platform services.    
  • Drive flexibility, scalability, simplicity, and standardization as core attributes of the platform. 
  • Provide thought leadership on the platform optimization for multiple Product Lines within SWX. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree field  
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading or being part of technical teams 
  • Proven experience in product management  
  • Proven experience in agile methodologies  
  • Strong Customer-obsessed attitude  
  • Strong business acumen with proven product category growth experience.  
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams.  
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in a matrix-management environment to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated.  
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.  
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels within the enterprise 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or other directly related field  
  • Prior product management experience with Automotive Cloud Environments Automotive HW/SW components and low-level Android/iOS/Linux SW components  
  • Strong knowledge on computer networks, standards and protocols  
  • Strong Customer Journey Experience  
  • Knowledge of vehicle EE architecture and protocols  
  • Experience working in Scaled Agile Environments  
  • Knowledge of agile platforms like JIRA, IBM RTC
