Production Controller (Ordnance)

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & MRTFB in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Watervliet Arsenal is an Army-owned and -operated manufacturing center located in New York. It is the oldest, continuously active arsenal in the United States having begun operations in 1813.

Prepare work orders based on manufacturing schedules developed to meet customer requirements for production, research and development, commercial and support mission items

Schedule workload into shops and support areas for assigned production items

Review requirements on master schedules using a material resource planning software

Manage multiple drawing number line items and production programs setting production and shipment schedules

Coordinate with Supply Division and the Planning Group to execute production and projects
