About the role

About the Position: This position is with the United States Army Transportation Command, Headquarters, G4, Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics and Engineering Directorate located at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The incumbent will serve as an Administrative Support Specialist within the directorate, aids the director, division chiefs, supervisors, and staff via extensive knowledge and understanding of the organization, its methods, funds, people, and other management tools.

Coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple administrative tasks to include calendar management, correspondence, workflow, and office operations for the directorate.

Gather and analyze data to identify issues, recommend improvements, and support decision-making for process efficiency.

Prepare reports, briefings, and correspondence.

Act as a liaison with all levels of staff, leadership, and external partners.

Manage records in compliance with Army regulations.

Maintain accurate documentation, and ensure proper retention, transfer and disposal of official files.
