About the role
The Functional & Electronic Architecture Validation Lead is responsible for overseeing full vehicle system-level validation, ensuring alignment and consistency across all sub-system validations for vehicle software. This role plays a critical part in driving integration, feature readiness, and validation efficiency across the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Sub-System Validation Teams and System-Level Validation Teams to ensure cohesive validation strategies.
- Drive progress and representativeness of sub-system validations in alignment with system-level validation activities (e.g., HVIL, PWB, X0).
- Lead the “Go for System Validation” process on a feature-by-feature basis, ensuring consistency with feature testability KPIs.
- Coordinate system-level validation efforts and promote cross-functional collaboration to enhance validation coverage and efficiency.
- Organize and lead workshops and targeted action plans to resolve inconsistencies or gaps relative to target validation objectives.
- Identify and address bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and integration issues across validation domains.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related degree field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in automotive electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of vehicle electrical and electronic architectures
- Demonstrated leadership and effective presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex issues independently.
- Skilled in organizing and communicating technical information clearly and effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Access, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related degree field.
- Project Management (PM) certification or equivalent.
- Innovative thinker with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Effective communicator with the ability to interface across diverse teams and functions.
- Self-directed and motivated to drive change in alignment with Stellantis NA Senior Management’s strategic direction.
