Work Schedule: Wed and Thur - Santa Barbara 10:30 am - 7:30 pm
Looking for someone to Work Wed - Sunday or Sunday - Thursday
Some Work will be in Ventura (We provide a Shuttle to get you there and back to Santa Barbara!)

We're seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a Blood Withdrawal Certificate to join our Santa Barbara team. This unique position offers the opportunity to provide therapeutic services two days per week while spending your remaining workdays supporting our mobile blood collection operations.
You'll work alongside a dedicated team, develop specialized collection skills and help deliver an exceptional experience for donors and patients.
Schedule
This is a five-day-per-week position offering variety between our Santa Barbara therapeutic services and mobile blood collection operations.
- Wednesday and Thursday: Required workdays providing therapeutic services in Santa Barbara.
- Three additional workdays: Scheduled between Friday and Tuesday based on business needs, supporting our mobile collection division.
- Flexible shifts and travel, including occasional overnight travel, may be required.
What You'll Do
As part of our collection team, you'll perform procedures under direct supervision while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
- Perform blood and blood product collections, including apheresis red cell collection, plasmapheresis, plateletpheresis and/or therapeutic apheresis.
- Support therapeutic procedures and patient care at our Santa Barbara location.
- Travel with our mobile collection team to community blood drives, assisting with setup, donor screening, phlebotomy, collection and breakdown.
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive, comfortable experience for every donor and patient.
- Maintain accurate records, perform daily quality control and ensure proper handling of blood products.
- Follow established standard operating procedures and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with teammates to achieve daily collection goals while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
- Maintain equipment, vehicles and facilities, and drive company vehicles when required.
- Support team training and perform other assigned duties as needed.
What You'll Bring
Required qualifications
- Current California LVN license with a Blood Withdrawal Certificate.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least six months of healthcare-related work experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurately document patient and donor information.
- Computer proficiency and ability to follow written procedures.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts and travel as required.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to patient safety and quality care.
A valid California driver's license is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
High School graduate or GED required.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
LVN license including Blood Withdrawal Certificate required.
Valid in–state driver's license preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Six months previous work experience in a healthcare related position required.
