Bell Ringer

The Bell Ringer position is pivotal to our fund-raising efforts during the Christmas season. This
position is responsible to engage with donors and ring a bell at locations throughout the community, generating donations. This position is outdoors and will experience cold, wet and snowy conditions.

* Christmas positions are temporary, up to 90 days, and are not entitled to benefits. Hours of work may vary and are not guaranteed.

* All Christmas positions have expectations that must be met in order to qualify for work assignments and ongoing temporary employment. This includes expectations in donations received.
* The Salvation Army, as a church, is exempt from participation in federal and state unemployment insurance programs. Upon termination, employees are not eligible for Unemployment Compensation.
* The Salvation Army work sites are Drug & Alcohol Free Workplaces, and are totally free of the use, possession or working under the influence of the illegal drugs and alcohol.
