Senior Manager, Compliance-New England Commercial Market

Position Summary
Partners with New England Commercial market leadership to provide regulatory guidance and compliance support across all commercial business segments. Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Network, Legal, Corporate Compliance, and Government Affairs to ensure business activities align with applicable regulatory requirements while supporting strategic business objectives.
Leads the development and implementation of compliance initiatives, identifies and mitigates regulatory risks, and promotes a culture of ethics and compliance through education, training, and stakeholder engagement. Interacts with state regulators for various compliance matters and maintains a collaborative working relationship. Integrate compliance and risk management considerations into business operations and decision-making to support compliant and effective business outcomes.
**The position may be remote or hybrid in the following locations. (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania)
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Partners closely with New England Commercial market leadership—including the Region President, Network leadership, and Sales and Account Management teams across all commercial segments—to provide strategic compliance guidance and support.
- Designs, develops, and implements compliance strategies that align with the Market’s business priorities and regulatory obligations.
- Promotes a culture of compliance by delivering targeted education and training, fostering awareness of applicable laws, regulations, and risk categories.
- Represents the New England Commercial market’s interests and liaises with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Corporate Compliance, Network, and State Government Affairs.
- Provides day-to-day compliance support, monitors ethical standards, and advises on conduct in relationships with regulators, customers, brokers and employees.
- Interacts with state regulatory bodies and maintains collaborative working relationships with state regulators. Serves as a primary point of contact for state regulatory compliance matters.
- Ensure that compliance practices are integrated into operational decision-making and risk management processes across the market.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years working experience in compliance, legislation, regulatory or similar functions with ability to translate complex regulatory concepts into clear business actions
- Healthcare industry experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills in project management, leading teams, implementing operational policies and procedures, and/or business consulting
- Experience in problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in collaboration and teamwork. Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across a highly matrixed organization.
- Experience in growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
- Experience in strategic thinking
- Experience in execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
- Experience in business intelligence
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to develop persuasive communications, build credibility, and influence internal stakeholders, business partners, senior leadership, and regulators to achieve strategic and regulatory objectives.
Education
Bachelor’s degreee preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualifications.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
