Civilian Pay Technician

About the Position: The Incumbent is responsible for a group of over 1400 accounts, including doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurse and many other employees in receipt of special pay. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Advance in Hire maybe authorized for those who are new to the federal employment. Advance leave accrual maybe authorized.

Serve as an expert source of information handling a variety of civilian payroll situations.

Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and other stakeholders regarding payroll and leave issues.

Verify entries in automated timekeeping systems for consistency and compliance with regulations.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
