Pharmacy Technician (Supply)

About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Establish stock levels, determines and adjusts reorder points considering factors such as usage rates, shelf life, storage capability, lead time, and fluctuations in demand.

Resolve problems relative to damages, over/under shipment, and questionable product quality.

Store items in appropriate order on shelf and arranges items in generic name order, changing locations as necessary to accommodate new items or removal of unnecessary items.

Package and label products to ensure proper handling, storage, and accountability.

Receive, review, and interpret prescriptions and performs necessary steps to correctly type, fill and dispense prescriptions within the parameters of established policy, procedures and instructions.
